The Amherst, MA Store
220 North Pleasant Street | Amherst MA 01002 | 413-256-4600 | Get Directions
PREP is located at 220 North Pleasant Street, just outside of University of Massachusetts, Amherst campus. It is one block from sorority row and in the heart of the downtown shopping and dining district.
Amherst is home to a highly concentrated population of college students throughout the school year. In addition to providing top education, Amherst is a beautifully picturesque New England town with a rich history and a thriving downtown district. However, prior to the opening of PREP, there was no retailer dedicated exclusively to cosmetics. Students and area Amherst women had no immediate access to designer cosmetics and skin care. PREP is thrilled to be part of the Amherst community, and to provide top quality beauty products to the many Amherst area students and women who know they deserve only the best.
PREP is eager to become the ultimate cosmetics experience for these many students, their visiting family members, university faculty and the many other women who live and work in Amherst.

The Newport, RI Store
182 Thames Street, Unit C | Newport, RI 02840 | 401-847-4600 | Get Directions
PREP is located at 182 Thames Street, in the heart of Newport's shopping district, directly across the street from where all visiting cruise ships dock and half a block from Starbucks.
PREP is in a league of its own on Thames Street. With thousands of tourists flooding the sidewalks outside our location, visitors constantly comment on the sophistication of our interior design. While many of the stores on Thames have been around for decades our store offers a breath of modern sophistication to the block. Prep prides itself on being feminine and stylish, blending modern high gloss white cabinets with wooden countertops. Our signature petal chandelier hangs in the front window lending a soft, noticeable light to the interior. Our interior suits our smart, stylish brand conscious clientele.
As America's second leading wedding destination, Newport welcomes countless brides each year. PREP is eager to be the ultimate makeup and skincare destination for these many brides and their attendants. Newport is also home to Salve Regina a predominately-female private college. Prep also caters to Saint George's, an elite New England boarding school. While brides, college students and prep schoolers are a constant visitor, we also thrive off the local patrons. Since Newport is essentially an island, we work hard to entice the local population to make Prep their one-stop shop for skincare and make-up.
ABOUT THAMES STREET
Billed as America's 'First Resort', Newport is famed for being America's yacht racing Mecca, and for boasting dozens of magnificent mansions built during the so-called 'gilded age' at the turn of the 20th century, when Newport was a summer haven for the wealthy. Newport today continues to draw the privileged elite, while welcoming countless visitors with its beautiful beaches, festivals and events, and varied attractions.
As a popular cruise ship port of call, wedding and weekend getaway destination, Newport attracts masses of leisure visitors, looking for a good time. One of Newport's most popular leisure activities is the shopping and dining on famed Thames St. While there are a few chain stores, most Thames St. shops are independently owned, creating an exciting and unique shopping experience that draws hordes of Newport visitors and residents alike.
"What used to be the center of Newport's commercial seaport in the colonial days, is now the hub of Newport's harbor side shopping and dining, where you can find eclectic boutiques, sophisticated and casual restaurants side by side and cozy waterfront rooms."
- Yahoo Travel
"Newport is a shopper's—but not a bargain hunter's—city. You can find antiques, souvenirs, fine crafts, clothing, and marine supplies in abundance."

Students can often be found in great numbers shopping or browsing on busy State Street, which extends westward from the corner of Capitol Square. The small boutiques of this pedestrian zone alternate between vintage clothing, New-Age gifts, music stores, and coffee shops."
